A kind word
That surprised me
Creating
Not dismantling
Warming
Somewhere deep inside
Found
In that quiet moment
Of trust
When what I desire most
Is discovered.
The simple words
Of love, mostly
Don’t need sentences
Soft eyes
Say far more
Than a stream of words
Willing to stay
A moment shared, here
Silent words
That are needed, or not,
Unspoken love songs
Say so much.
